you look like honey but your eyes are running.
your hair is unkempt, eyes so sad
not even he could fix how broken you are.
his soft, electric blonde hair
counteracts your broom of hair that twists like branches and falls like wet tears.
oh, oh, oh you’re the sad old girl who cries in the afternoon
and his eyes burn like butane in the disappearing sky
where he sees you cry, sitting alone like the unwanted bouquet that you are.
now my eyes are full of life and misunderstanding
and you’re the sad girl i see wanting love like it’s a cup of coffee
to attain so easily.
the jist of it all is that love isn’t so fair
and you’re crying tears of honey
not like the rest of the world
that’s running in false hope, liars and cheats, no communication.
they’ll call you awful for not given them attention
they’ll vaguely sneer at you whenever you speak
but you’re already crying so what else can they do?
you’re cerulean eyes are pale and empty
not bland, not colorless, just empty of life.
pale skin like cold breathes in winter
and you’re still crying for someone who doesn’t love you.
you are the girl who’s still living like a ghost
unecessarily alive
right now you’re so cold
it’s like im watching the stars fade
and the ocean pausing
you are the sad girl who’s never going to find that love
if you keep wanting
you’re just desperate for love
not in need of love.
cry your eyes out
it’s better than loving a bastard who lies like a snake
And it’s better than loving.
It’s better than loving someone who’s trying to lie
it’ll be just this once
that i lay in notice
for our eyes to meet
just so you can feel
that I’m always watching
watching you feel, for someone who’s dead.
for someone you’ve loved.
and I’ll take notice
just so you can know
that I’m like you, alone in this hell.
so my eyes are fading
while you’re holding this hand
i live in this hell while you’re stranded in here
so stay for awhile
before i forget
that we’re no different
lost and alike.
