Chihiro was nothing short of terrified at his senior’s abrupt actions. Usually Gundam Tanaka was known for announcing his presence. Gundam Tanaka was known for being boisterous and always causing a scene. There was always a warning before storm Tanaka hit.

Today was a flash flood. It hit Chihiro just as hard as he was pressed against the wall. His heart was pounding and he could feel the blood rushing to his cheeks, he felt like a kettle as his ears started to ring.

He was terrified.

No.

He was thrilled.

Chihiro was always extremely uncomfortable to approach people away from the presence of a group. It meant giving yourself up to someone and your wavering, temporary trust in the idea that they wouldn't harm you-- intentionally anyways. There did however, come the odd example from time to time which nothing but (morbid) curiosity would lead Chihiro straight to.

As it so happened, Gundam Tanaka was one such example, perfectly exemplifying the "odd" in "odd example". Word had traveled around about the student, who was a year senior to Chihiro herself. Whether such word were true, she supposed, was what brought her here.

The upperclassman dorm halls weren't too different from her own class's, the layout was incredibly similar, as was the decor, and yet the atmosphere felt entirely different. More composed. More confident.

More brave.

Chihiro eyed the signs on the doors of the passing dorm rooms, until her eyes finally met with the name she was hunting for. "Tanaka", with a small pixel-like picture of a character who-- based on precedent of similar signs on the doors of herself and her friends-- was meant to resemble the owner of the room laying behind the door.

She took a deep breath and reached for the envelope in her pocket. Shifting her glance back and forth down the empty hall, she made sure no witnesses were there to catch her. Slowly she knelt down, and slipped the envelope-- kindly labelled "Tanaka-senpai" in writing that she really hoped was neat enough to read-- under the upperclassman's door. She then knocked on his door and ran for the staircase as quickly as her feet could carry her.

Chihiro peeked from around the corner of the stairs, waiting for him to open the embarrassing message which was nestled in the confines of the envelope:

Tanaka-senpai,

I don't mean to come across as invasive, or intrusive  or certainly not creepy! I apologize if the measures I've taken come across as such. However, amongst my classmates... I've heard some things about you, Tanaka-senpai, that have made me curious. I don't know whether to take them as truth or falsehoods, so if you could please clear my doubts...

Is it true that you're really a god...?
