oh my goodness... i was not expecting this ! i just wanted to give credit where credit was due. while this all started because of a hateful anon, it blessed me with understanding the full support of my mutuals and how truly wonderful people can be. 

about 3+ years ago (to be fair it could be between 4-5 years... maybe more), you gave me a sharpen action and then your resource pack came out and it was what inspired me to start really focusing on graphics and making things. I use that sharpen action religiously, in almost all the work i make. when i move computers, i make sure i have it installed every time. 

so when someone asks how i get my work so crisp, i have to give credit where credit it due. because while i have developed my work beyond, it was your action and resource pack that were the building blocks and i absolutely had to bring attention to all that you have done for me even if it was unknowingly done.

some days, it all feels too much. some days, she wonders if she did the right thing, deciding to join the rebels, fighting for a better future. some days just seem dark and hopeless. today ... well, lyme isn’t quite so sure if it is one of those days, but she knows she is just so tired. do others feel the same way? she knows the answer already, knows that other rebels have it worse than her. her eyes are closed as she tries to find a moment of peace. 

---     she usually has time for herself, not many people dare approaching her. they remember her games, they remember how ruthless she can be. most are simply scared. but she’s not the tribute in the arena anymore. she is calmer, though very much tense and always careful. and some people are safe to approach her.     ---

cold eyes observe the other for a moment, the faintest of smiles on her lips. of course he would say such things; if only he had known he’s been an equal waste of time to her most of the time. as useful as he could be, as grateful she might have been to have him around. alma leans forward, briefly resting most of her weight on her arms as a smile begins to form on her lips a little more distinctively. and yet, her eyes remain cold as they always do. “as do you, mr. flickerman.” her calm demeanor is almost a provocation to everyone around her. as if she is mocking the people around her, playing with them until they broke. but this is who she is, calm on the outside while on the inside, there are screams and flashes of lightning and everything was an uncoordinated mess.

it would have been impressive just how organized she was on the outside while everything else is just falling apart.

‘ you will need the sponsors, cecilia. you have to make them fall in love with you. ’     there is hardly a person cecilia hated more than her own escort. that woman doesn’t care about her or any other of their tributes for that matter. it’s all about her personal fame, how they are going to make her look good. and she hates her for it. yet, she mingles at one of the capitols party only long enough to be remembered, few genuine smiles being spread throughout the few hours. she has lived this life before, briefly, before it became too much and she returned back home. 

she hadn’t expected to run into caesar when she tried to hide from the crowds --- going back to their apartment is no option, not yet. it is easy to notice when you are talking to the show master and when you are actually talking to caesar; it has been one of the things cecilia had been quick to notice throughout her time in the capitol.     the advantages of being a mentor. though that is gone too.      being a mentor, being a mother, being a wife --- all is lost now.      “ if this is all the time i have left, i might as well enjoy it. just for a couple of hours. ” she had proclaimed, a bittersweet smile on her lips. 

‘ you don’t give yourself enough credit. ‘     and maybe she doesn’t, but what is she supposed to do? she knows she doesn’t stand a chance against every other victor.
