I like how it turned out, especially conserving energy by not detailing the flowers too much, but I wish I could have! And I got the cool idea of having his wing be the fan, almost? As in putting the flowers in it like it was a fan.

Kafka is well… a whiny kid, because his shell and vulnerable parts have just been flipped. Shou was supposed to be the safe shell, agreeing to everything and always seeking to learn, while Kafka is “I dunno.. that’s scary …” and Erin would probably hate that attitude. It’s too vulnerable and honest.

But unfortunately 😔 he’s kind of a genius. I want to write it this way, he’s been through millenniums of studying as Shou, so when he’s finally human as Kafka, even without any memory, he will blindly find his way to the right answer. It really looks like cheating. It’s like Faust with Gesellschaft. Straight up haxx if you didn’t know about his history as Shou first.
