Sketch for the beginning of the game. What’s bugging Vlad? It’s still a ways off but we’re already messing around with some ideas.
Welcome to our new game dev blog! To kick things off, worked on some UI mockups recently featuring Volley. Trying to give the team an idea as to possible direction after outro animations. :) We’re still kicking around a ton of ideas, but I tend to be biased towards vibrant schemes. Definitely got some inspiration from ARMS colorful presentation and Persona 5′s more stylized layout.

THE HYBRID CAN HARDLY HEAR THE OTHER MAN WHEN HE SPEAKS TO HIM FROM THE LOUD, CONSTANT BUZZING NOISE DRONING IN HIS EARS ―― FINDS IT DIFFICULT to locate where his voice is coming from, what with the concussion stirring his brains around inside his skull, like a whirlpool. Crimson red eyes open and CLOSE a dozen times as he tries to focus ―― he doesn’t see much except a blur of colors. Reds, blacks, greys, whites. He can’t remember what had brought him to this moment, to him sitting on the floor with a broken nose and a split lip.
“Three. Your holdin’ three fingers up, I think.” Frown causes CREASES to appear across his forehead and slowly the world comes back into focus. Hands lift to touch the bloodied cut across his nose ―― the FEELING of broken cartilage makes him wince in a way that he hasn’t done in a very long time and piece by piece the memories of the previous night come back to him. His Dad starting a bar fight ―― him trying to break it up only to be attacked himself. “I don’t suppose ya have seen a blond man lurkin’ around here have you?”
