Hi there! So this is a character if mine who is super sweet, quiet, and kind, but built like an Amazonian. I was attempting to draw her face from different angles, and this one has been bothering me for a while.. I think the eye placement and size is wrong? But I’m not sure. She is supposed to have a sort of fish-like/aquatic humanoid look to her? If that makes sense? So her eyes are not a normal shape or have a human look to them. I also think her ear looks a little strange, it’s meant to look almost like an elf ear. Her nose is meant to look kind of flat, portrayed by two nostrils, but again it looks off. I’d appreciate some help with finding where the features are supposed to be, and the correct size of each.

The hair on her brow obscured a bit of her facial structure, so, I had to go out on a limb when drawing the slope of her face. Hope this is not too far from what you wanted.   The eye in the original drawing might have been a tad too wide. Which would make the face read as if it was seen from the front, rather than in a profile. 

She looks rather cute though, and the aquatic theme conveys rather decently with the shape of her eye, and the triangular lashes sprouting from the top lid. 

i think they're just arm floaties but i could be wrong

Armbands, generally. Or swimming armbands.

yes hello!!! Ignis is very energetic and outgoing, very reckless too,,, they try to act cool a lot but they’re just a big goofball tbh! They can be pretty hotheaded at times though (i mean, they are the sun). They’re extremely passionate about the things & people they love (especially their partner Menulis).

I can't tell you why you're doing that but I can definitely say that you have not regressed??

my brain: she’s feeling confident in the fic, quick start drawing comparisons with things that have no reasons to be compared to it!!
