Elisa struggled to recover her breath as she looked up, bright lights twinkling down like they’re harmless. She knew they weren’t stars, they were angels, thousands and thousands of them. All headed for her.

She cursed, getting up as quickly as she can as the swarm came closer, their swords all unseathed. She extended her wings and flew in the other direction, only to be struck down by an angel from behind.

“Ack-!” She winced, but continued to keep on going as her right wing felt numb. She couldn’t stop, she had to power through the agony. She’ll not die like this. Not yet.

“Give it up, Elisa!” One of the archangels boomed, their voice reverberating throughout the entire hellscape. She knew it, it was a trap. She turned around, facing the archangel Gabriel. 

“I’m innocent! I haven’t done anything wrong! I swear!” Elisa cried out, her voice trembling badly. “Believe me! Gabriel, why are you doing this!?”

“You’re nothing but a danger to us all, if you would so willingly break Heavens’ rules, then what more can you do?!” 

“You’re nothing but a liar!! You want to do this cause you hate me! I know it!” She shrieked, her voice becoming scratchy from her anger.

Deep down, she made a promise, a huge one in fact. She knew what she had to do..
