Everyone has a passion right?!? For myself, I just happen to be passionate about fashion and art. These last few months I’ve really gotten the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with amazing people who also share my same passion. Doing something you love is the ultimate feeling of fulfillment and satisfaction, and to be honest each time I'm on set I fall in love with my passion all over again. It’s a feeling I never want to loose, call me crazy but y'all know how it is lol.

 I wanted to fill you guys in on what I’ve been up too this last month. I’ve worked on a few gigs within the month of July. I had the opportunity to work with the amazing Leslia Miller for Profiles 98 magazine. If you read my last write up you can see a few behind the scene photos (click here). The shoot was absolutely amazing and we had a really great team. I cant wait until that issue drops its going to be f a b u l o u s!!!! 

 The week after, I styled two best friends who just happened to share the same birthday I must say they were one of my most difficult clients yet, but none-the-less the shoot turned out great. FYI for any aspiring stylist out there remember one thing, you must ALWAYS be prepared you never know what your client may or may not bring so it is your job to always be 5 steps ahead (I was taught that by the one and only LaVonne Alexis- Bahamian stylist).

 Lastly, I assisted LaVonne, who is now the official stylist for Miss Bahamas Pageant with there Top model runway competition. She was completely in charge of the runway show, which was a huge success. We had multiple themes that for the girls to model: resort wear, street-style chic, and their own personal runway look, which was under the theme “beauty personified”. Each look was completely different. We used Bahamian designers such as Theodore Elyett, Ria Georgina and a local Bahamian clothing store, Blanc Du Nil. The girls definitely owned that runway; if you missed it you missed a great show!
