These two images were developed from the idea of the contrast between the dull that a visitor to a city will see and the bold and bright that a tourist will see. Both of these images were taken in new locations to me (Bournemouth and Venice) which was a challenge in itself as I was not familiar with the location which meant that my ideas were being developed on the spot. I tried to many different form of experimentation in order to show the contrast between plain and boring but I found that sectioning between black and white and colour was most effective.
