So like. The Purple guy is in the golden Bonnie suit right? Springtrap? He’s dead of course but he’s like sort of a zombie man in a worn out rabbit costume?

Has anybody tried making sense of how a spring based costume would work because I've been mulling it and it doesn't seem very practical I mean I go to Disney World every other year so I see a lot of costumed people and that seems very effective. Meanwhile I've been at Chuck-E-Cheese and that seems horribly ineffective. 

So that’s confusing. 

Actually I keep running the time in my head I’m very bad about time so I have a hard time making things line up in my head. 

There was Fredbear’s diner which I assume looked like a Shoney’s

That’s where the first child was killed but as far as I can tell the game doesn’t mention this as a hit to Fazbear’s reputation like so many other situations that transpire later on. 

Nevertheless the minigame suggests that this is where the haunting begins and he posses the marionette. 

For the record lets talk about the history of real life animatronics. 

Animatronics: refers to the use of robotic devices to emulate a human or an animal, or bring lifelike characteristics to an otherwise inanimate object.

In a way it’s anthropomorphism which is the state of mind that allows inhuman things to have human personas in the eyes of a human. Artwork has kind of a long history of relating to inanimate or inhuman and giving it human qualities. 

Apparently as early as the 3rd century the basic concept and some designs or even records of built devices that fit the description of automaton existed. 

Modern animatronics started existing in the 1930s although they would more likely be defined as robots until the previous phase caught on. 

The first fully human like animatronic was Abraham Lincoln built for display at 1964 World's Fair in the New York  

I mention this to give you an idea on what sort of technology this is and how bizarrely advanced the Fazbear animatronics are. With the exception of their horrible ugliness which is mostly inspired by Chuck-E Cheese 

By the way apparently these guys are a thing of a past. Call me crazy. But they don’t look so scary and this was many years ago. Look at Chuck-E now

The Disney Style imagineering has trickled down and affected the small time developers of these anthropomorphic furry automatons. 

If they still scare you then what can I say. Either the game has you really spooked or you have Automatonophobia (fear of things with false human appearances) or one of it’s more specific cases like  Pupaphobia (fear of puppets). Personally having enjoyed suited characters at attractions and conventions I quite enjoy them. 

Still though. I wonder if the first Fazbear was really a automaton. The one at the Diner. 

I can’t say for sure. 

The Diner was successful enough to get an expansion. A whole Pizza Party Place. The lone restaurant became a franchise. At this point I imagine that the scene in Stage 01 was in fact the grand opening of the Fazbears Pizza place and with that came the slight redesign of Fazbear to the golden style along with the newest character Bonnie to join the ranks. These two outfits were spring loaded so a person can get inside.

In fact Phone guy mentions that replacements for Spring suits would come in and you’d have to wear them instead. It’s short notice as well so who knows what those were like. 

So spring Bonnie and Spring Fazbear were put away into the safe room. HOWEVER. You don’t see the Freddy suit anywhere in the safe room. 

NOW. Assuming Bonnie was never moved the restaurant that Phone guy mentions in night six of the second game is the same one where the missing children incident took place in. 

The suit was Golden Freddy seeing as he’s the only suit that’s always missing and never at one particular place but canonically exists in hallucinations and in the past. The child associated with the bear is equally elusive briefly only having some confirmed relation at the end of the bad and the happiest day minigame as being the Golden Freddy. 

So how did the Puppet put the child into Golden Freddy? Well it’s a ghost for one thing. Golden Freddy has to be somewhere physically. And the child can’t move it because it’s still in suit mode wherever it is. So it proxy haunts. 

Remote haunting. Advanced space age otherworldly technology for cutting edge scares. 

It’s why those paranormal shows never find anything. 

In the scene where the purple man gets his comeuppance you see only four dismantled bots with freed children respectively and a fifth one that just appears. Puppet child has a particular form in the Atari ghost world and that is the original child that makes the six at the happiest day party. 

Now here’s a bit of a problem. When do the toy versions come out and the old versions become. Well. old?

The first game takes place in 1993 and the company is on it’s last leg after the bite of 87 and the missing children incident (if the Dunlap parallel is to be trusted). This is also after the place reopened and Phone guy did the night shift for as long as it took for him to learn the ropes, to record the audio, and ultimately. For his luck to run out. 

So lets make sense of it. Fredbears was in the late 70s. Spring suits were made in the early 80s but quickly replaced and probably in a year or so the classic costumes that we know where put in their stead. That’s when the missing children incident happened. A man was convicted for kidnapping them but it wasn't the purple man. 

Wrongly convicted person? Maybe. The day shift guard? Possibly. The Phone Guy? Probably not. Interesting that the day shift has one guard even though the typical hours for a single guard is around 6 hours (if my calculations are correct) and the phone guy also acts like he’s a guard as well. So multiple day guards? Maybe. 

So who is the purple guy? I’m just going to put it out there. He’s an impostor. Somehow he lifted his information and identity from a day time guard and used it to gain access needed to capture the children. When the investigation went through all the trails led to the guard and not the purple man. 

Sneaky Little #800080 Red 128 Green 0 Blue 128 Son of gun! 

One problem though. They changed buildings.

The possessed puppet and animatronics know it was a guard but they also don’t truly know who the purple man is so they don’t know who to trust when it concerns adults and even staff. 

This might explain why even the newer bots attack you. 

About that. When does the change take place? When do the children get shoved into the suits which cause the smell and make the place fall apart?

I've figured that out too. The ghost put the children in the decommissioned suits from the last building. Meanwhile the active robots for the new building are just spazzing out due to them failing to figure out who is safe and they end up biting someone. But probably not a child. This seals their fate and the older models are quickly put together but that doesn’t work out either as the whole organic decay takes place and makes Fazbears unsanitary. 

I think that’s what happens at least. The bouncing back and forth between years where none of them are very specified except one is very hard on my mind. As well as this game. Which is eating away at me. I’m not very good with horror. I get curiosity for myths, monsters, and murder mysteries from my mother but I have a really low constitution and it makes. 

Sleeping. Very difficult. But I can’t fall apart now! I’m going to compile all the information while trying my best to not lose it in the event I hear a faint creaking noise. 

Where was I? Uh. Okay. So I think I solved the confusion with time. Even if it was just for myself. I guess that leads into the third game which takes place in the future. Spring Bonnie now named Spring trap has the trapped purple man inside. Who is dead. But the idea is that either Spring bonnie is now in robot mode OR. The purple man has possessed the suit. Sure. 

I believe that. He acts like the possessed Animatronics in that he moans around and has organic decay inside him. And he escaped the fire. 

He may have set the fire. After all that’s where he died isn't it? (Isn’t it?) He was trapped behind that wall but when Phone Dude freed him he started haunting the place and tried to kill you. But. He’s probably come to the idea that Fazbears needs to go. 

So he burned the place of his demise. How do I know he lived?

Lived is very relative by the way. So guess who’s coming to dinner in Five Nights 4?

By the way. Cawthorn is involved but the movie people are David Katzenberg, Seth Grahame-Smith, and Roy Lee

Make a prayer for the movie folks. It’s 50/50 and you know Hollywood. If you see slasher you are gonna get juked. 

4th one is final though. And it didn’t take very long for the others to be finished so uh. I want this to be over. I want to lay down and not hear.
