The time has come!!

That’s right my guys! Posting will start TUESDAY!!! 

There will not be a schedule, school has once again kicked my ass and I ran out of time to draft it up. That being said, you all will have from 27th till March 6th! Yes, that includes the weekend of the Season 5 drop, but we have extended this as far out as we could, all the Valentines events are done and we are pretty much good to go. 

Tonight and Tomorrow, I would like for everyone to submit READ ONLY versions of their work. 

Writers; submit at a Google Doc as READ ONLY with your original fic identifier (GN #01 and so on). This is to check that the word requirement has been met. 

Artists; submit a JPEG or PNG for your work with your original fic identifier (GN #01 and so on).

I ask this of everyone because all of this will be dumped into two folders that will be open for all participants, but I don’t want them to be tampered with.

These folders are open for everyone, but it simply meant for everyone to submit their work.

Posting

On Tuesday, all of you are allowed to post your work as you see fit. Multichapters may be continued to be posted outside of the posting window. 

Please tag us when you post on tumblr and add your fic to the AO3 collection when posting on AO3. 

We are no longer doing a 50% Check-In. The mods are busy with finals, as with most of the participants. We have deleted that date and added a new one for 75% Check-In.

We have had many people come to us asking for extensions and we have made the executive decision to hold a different check-in for the bang. We have the feeling that this will be received better because it is the beginning of a new semester for most of us involved with the bang and the homework load will be light. The mods themselves have finals during the whole week the original check-in was to take place.

It was also deemed easier to get rid of the old check-in and add a new one for the sake of keeping the changes to the schedule minimal. 

The date for the 75% Check-In is January 13th, 2018!!

What will be required of Writers:

75% of the fic. This will either be considered 6k or the appropriate amount of your plot line. We can only discern that you have 6k with your submissions.

What will be required of Artists:

Simple colors for your pieces and progress being made on shading and background work.

We sincerely hope that this is acceptable to everyone. If you have any more concerns about the bang, feel free to send us an ask or an email and we will gladly discuss what we can do to make this even better!

The initial round of claims is complete! 

We only have a few fics left unpaired and that is simply due to the requirements writers stated at the beginning of the bang. I promise that everyone will get claimed! So please do not worry, the mods and I are handling this as best as we can. We are still on track to release the pairings tomorrow through Saturday.

So artists...

its down to the wire here. but i really need everyone to fill out their forms and such, please get them in!!! the mods and I will be going through them all tonight! and it would be awesome if can have most of them ready to go by friday/saturday night. you guys are doing awesome and we are all so excited to have you participating in the bang. thanks guys!

if you haven't received an email from us with the site or the claims, please send us a message/ask off anon so we can get you hooked up!! we have 37 artists signed up and 35 submissions from writers, (which are pretty good numbers) but we want to make sure that everyone participates!!

As you have noticed, claims have not been released and we must apologize for the confusion and the dreadful communication we have had with all of you this past week.

The claims would have gone up today, but as it worked out, all of the Mods had life crash down on them and we were unable to work on the items needed for claims. We are sincerely sorry for this, and it totally slipped our minds to let you know here instead of just on the discord server.

As it stands now, claims will be going up tomorrow, but a time has not been set. When it does happen, all of the artists will be notified by email and a post will be made here to let you know to check the email and tell you that claims are live. The site will be linked in the email and won't be posted here. This is to keep claims fairly secure.

The mods will then begin to match artists to writers over the course of the following week and we should have claims done by Friday/Saturday. We aren't nailing down a time to tell you guys specifically when because it is unclear if we will have all of the Mods available at that time.

Again, we are truly sorry for slacking and we are working as fast we can to get things going. We appreciate your patience with us.
