“Hell no, I trust Jackie, I just don’t trust the way Jan’s looking at her – I know that look, that look is part of my job,” she insisted.

Gigi was unconvinced, “I think it’s sweet, if not a bit ironic, all things considered. Are you gonna talk to Jackie about it?”

Jaida shook her head, “no, you’re right, Jackie handles watching me literally fuck other girls so well, I shouldn’t be getting all bent over this.”

“Hey, your feelings are valid even if they don’t make sense,” she offered.

Reluctantly, Jaida accepted what she said and made her way over to Jackie, wrapping an arm around her waist and pressing a kiss to her cheek, “what’re y’all talking about?” she asked as casually as she could muster.

Jackie knew that being a freelance producer and editor didn’t guarantee steady work. But her portfolio was impressive, and she was doing pretty decently. She also liked to keep herself busy, so when there was a lull in projects, she signed on for a project she might have otherwise overlooked.

Things really have been going well for Jaida and Jackie, no one would argue with that. Jackie knew Jaida’s job was just that, but something that had always helped her remember that was the fact that Jaida never seemed interested in hanging out with any of her costars outside of work. Half the time she didn’t even like them.

So, when Jaida started filming with Nicky, Jackie didn’t think anything of it. She hadn’t been able to join Jaida on set for a little while, so she assumed the relationship was the same as any other - cordial at best. But then Jaida started coming home later, and had flippantly explained that she was hanging out with Nicky.

“Now remember, this kingdom is our biggest ally. It is of utmost importance that this meeting goes off without a hitch,” Jan said as she laced up Jackie’s corset. “I’ve heard a bit about Princess Jaida, though. Sounds like your type.”

Jackie arched her brow. “What do you mean by that?” she looked at Jan over her shoulder.

Jan finished lacing her up and sat down on the bed. “A plethora of male suitors, never entertained a single one.”

“I don’t know if you can just… appoint yourself as my manager,” Jaida remarked as Jackie walked onto set with her. “Like, don’t you need to fill out some paperwork or something?”

Jackie shook her head, keeping her messenger bag close. “Not really. Turns out the rules are pretty lax here. Which is why I’m stepping in as your manager,” she explained. 

Jaida’s expression softened into a smile. “Okay, I know you just want what’s best for me.” 

“Exactly,” she grinned. “And I’ve decided to make this everyone else’s problem.” Jackie fully supported her girlfriend’s career as an adult actress, but her primary concern was always going to be her safety. She had no interest in policing her behavior, but she sure as hell was going to make sure everyone she interacted with treated her with the utmost respect. 

In fact, Jackie had already been managing to an extent. She renegotiated Jaida’s contract to ensure she would never have to film scenes with men, that she would be fairly compensated for overtime, and Jaida did appreciate it. 

Of course, there was the added bonus of having her girlfriend there when she needed to get in the mood to film with another actress that just didn’t get her going in a genuine way. So, Jaida and Jackie were in the dressing room with about fifteen minutes before shooting began. 

“You in the zone?” Jackie asked, sitting on the loveseat and watching her girlfriend do some deep breathing. Well, she was watching her because of the lingerie she was in, but that was beside the point. 

“Yeah, yeah I’m good,” Jaida assured, then smirked. “But I mean, if you wanna be my fluffer, I certainly wouldn’t object,” she hummed, moving over to sit on her lap. 

“Manager, fluffer, I’m just building up my resume here,” she chuckled as she kissed up her neck, running her hands over her body. 

Jaida chuckled and straddled her lap. “My talented baby,” she cooed, running her fingers through her hair and kissing her deeply, rolling her hips against her and pressing their bodies close together. 

Even though Jackie could easily lose herself in making out with her girlfriend, she took her time feeling every inch of skin, writhing in time with her movements. But she still had to try to control herself, they were so short on time, and she was just feeling arousal build up in her when one of the PA’s called Jaida onto set. 

“I won’t be too long, baby. Promise,” Jaida assured, kissing her before leaving.

Jackie didn’t actually know what she was supposed to do while Jaida was filming. She watched her for a bit, and while she wasn’t jealous per se, she definitely needed a break from watching her girlfriend fuck another woman. So, she ended up wandering over to the craft service table. If she had to watch Jaida railing the other actress, she wasn’t going to do it on an empty stomach. 

“I don’t know how you do it,” a crew member remarked. “I wouldn’t be able to handle my girl having sex with someone on camera.”

Jaida loves her job, and not necessarily for the reasons that one may think. Being a porn actress is something she’s good at, it’s a skill that she’s quickly learned not just anyone has. And perhaps more importantly, she feels safe in what could be an otherwise dangerous industry. 

Her safety, of course, was due almost entirely to Jackie. While not physically intimidating, Jackie’s intellect and ability to know just when to threaten legal action has made this the most relaxed work environment she’d ever had. And she adores Jackie, she’s grateful her girlfriend never hesitated once to accept her life without judgement. 

“Can I be honest with you about something?” Jackie asked one night when the two of them were home in their apartment. 

Jaida frowned slightly. “Of course, what’s up?”

“I’m just… I’m happy you still want to have sex with me after spending all day fucking these beautiful women,” she admitted. “It makes me feel special.” 

“You are special,” Jaida replied without hesitation, wrapping her arms around Jackie and holding her close. “And as far as I’m concerned, you’re the most beautiful woman on set every damn day.” 

Jackie smiled, leaning into her embrace. “You really mean that?” 

Jaida scoffed at the question. “Of course I do. I told you, I still think about you to make it through scenes,” she told her. “It makes me need you that much more,” she added, starting to kiss along Jackie’s neck. “I’ve been aching for your touch.”

And Jackie believed her. She knew Jaida was never the type to say things solely for the purpose of making her feel better. “Then I’m more than happy to oblige,” she replied with a soft smirk, tilting her head to the side to bare her neck.

“Babe, it’s fine, you really don’t have to do anything…” Jackie said, though she knew her words were falling on deaf ears.

Jaida was already getting off the bar stool. “Nuh uh, not after that fucker was so rude to you,” she said, staring the man down from across the bar. 

It wasn’t even something Jackie noticed at first. She just thought some drunk jerk shoved her on the way back to his spot. It had taken her a minute to realize he’d muttered some derogatory remarks as well.

But Jaida picked up on it right away, and she was having none of it and stormed right over to the man. 

And even though Jackie would never advocate instigating an argument or fight, she had to admit, it was incredibly satisfying to watch her girlfriend tear him a new asshole, finishing the tirade off by throwing his drink in his face. 

When Jaida returned, it was like nothing had happened. She kissed Jackie’s cheek and ordered them another round of drinks.
