Pronouns: he/him; but never ‘it’

Age: early 40s

Race, Class, Ethnicity: white, middle-class, British

Describe them physically: very frail, thin, with scraggy hair, a pleasant face, and appealing eyes. He is no longer able to speak much, thanks to numerous seizures plus the after affects of having been taken hostage, has limited movement, and has an eating disorder.

Describe how they dress: whatever the nursing home decides to dress him in, although he does have a chest of drawers in his room that holds his things and personal possessions.

Favourite things: being out in the air and/or away from his room with people who like him; people who accept him.

Least favourite things: people who lecture him because “they know what’s best for him”.

Hobbies: listening to people, people watching, looking forward to outings.

Quirks: classed as a bit stubborn, all he wants is respect, and yearns to be loved.

What's up in the romance department (and if they're aro, are they in a queerplatonic relationship): he is widowed and has given up on the thought of romance ever coming his way again. True friends are more important in his life.

Best qualities: kind, intelligent, and loving. His faith keeps him strong. A real sweetheart.

Worst flaws: fatalistic, always looking out for signs of rejection, thinks that food isn’t allowed, and unable to express his frustrations.

Would you say they're a good person: definitely, yes. He wouldn’t hurt a fly.

Tell us in a few lines how you got the idea for them/how they came to be: it was partly because I was in a deep hormonal angsty mood, thanks to the menopause and dealing with my terminally ill mother, after I had been discussing with my friend the schizophrenic members of her family, that I decided to try doing something different something different - a bit of 'automatic writing'. Just letting myself go with the flow, as it were. The result was bizarre, to say the least, but an emotional release.

It’s the same URL I use elsewhere, so it seemed logical to stick with it for the time being.

Why these things always want to know this? I’ve never used it, and only bother with the initial. But for those who want to know, it’s Sandra.

4) If you could be any mythical creature, what would you be?

Kraken? Erm… perhaps a Siren, then the blokes would be running towards me instead of away for a change.  Same result at the end though…

5) Favourite colour?

According to the Dulux colour chart, it is called Lost Lake. I bet that’s puzzled you, hahahahaha!

6) Song you live right now?

Weirdly enough the song I’ve got in my head at the moment is You’ll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins (from the Tarzan soundtrack); thanks to hubby wanting some Phil Collins downloaded onto an SD card for the car.
