As I told in the last post, Skyler has been being friend of Max and her older brother Sherman since she was a newborn baby. in this picture is shown how Max met Skyler, he was already a 1 year old toddler and Skyler was 1 week and 4 days old. Max and Sherman already knew each other 6 months before Skyler was born (and while her mom was pregnant of her). 

I tried to adapt it as how life was like at the beginning of the year 2000 (a year that "for now" she was born), trying to find any reference of a late 1990's long armchair and a reference of a late 1990's or early 2000's baby carrier.

also I wanted to test water color and white ink in some parts and I like how this turned out!!
