For context, this is in New Jersey

So sit down, and here's the thing

I don't cut people off unless necessary (unexpected merge). And where I'm driving, I know where all the merges are

I'm also not cutting you off, I'm getting in front of you. Know the difference

If I get in front of you, it's because of 1 of 2 things: (A) I watched your driving pattern and you're slower than me, or (B) I assume you're slower than me, so don't take it personal. And yes, I've been right every time. And if not, they match my speed, so I'm sure they appreciate someone not slow in front of them

No, I'm not in a hurry. Stop assuming just because someone drives fast (in this case, no more than 10 above the limit (non highway) which btw, is the normal flow of traffic), that they're in a hurry. Go look up a term called "fun". Some people like to cruise. Others like to go fast. And yes, I'm very aware of my surroundings, unlike people constantly on their phones or distracted. Makes me fucking sick

Now why would I assume someone drives slower than me? Because I have yet to be proven wrong. And I specifically analyze the driving of the person I'm getting in front of. Not to mention that tailers, the high majority of the time, do not drive fast enough once they have no one to tail. Those people are part of the problem

On that topic, I also won't tail you. I might get close for a moment because you're BREAKING around a soft turn when you DON'T NEED to because it looks SO SCARY from your angle. I like to save my breaks

You think I'm aggressive? I'm extremely timid, and I grew up in central Indiana, where there's basically no bad traffic compared to NJ, and then moved to NJ which is the most densely populated state. I keep my distance. I never break aggressively. My eyes are glued to the road. I still get anxiety in dense traffic

So yes, I assume you're a shitty, slow, or inconsistent driver. And I have been right every single day. That's why I pass you. So don't take it personally, because I assume this for every driver I see until proven wrong. That's why when everyone is in the left lane, the right lane (which ends up ahead) is empty, I seize the opportunity and claim that spot. Light hits green, I'm the fastest to react and accelerate, and get in front of the line. I also still look both ways. Meanwhile everyone behind me is chugging along and it's as if I'm going 30 over, when I actually am going a reasonable speed. I don't get it. It's not hard

How NJ drivers here tail like someone is going 5 mph, then not successfully pass, while going 30 in a 40, while all 3 lanes are going 80 in a 65, blows my goddamn mind

Make up your mind pieces of shit. And learn how to drive

Am i a perfect driver? Of course not, I've made mistakes just like everyone will and has. But I am NOT that driver who speeds, drives like an asshole, cuts you off, and is in a hurry. You simply are not being realistic. I don't go more than 10 over on non-highways. I pass fast. I accelerate fast. I leave space I look both ways. I'm not distracted. I get in front of a line with plenty of clearance. And I enjoy driving fast especially on amazing roads.

Let me ask you 3 questions? Am I hurting anyone? Am I hurting myself? Am I doing something illegal?
