I'm a pathetic excuse for a girlfriend, friend or human being. Nothing I say or do is the right course of action and only leads to more problems or just not solving the damn thing. People always have the right words to get me to crawl out of my pity party and smile once more but when its my turn to try and help someone back on their feet all I seem to do is push them onto the ground and then repeating the phrase "I'm sorry". The best I can do is sit beside someone and listen, and try my best NOT to say a word. Maybe hold a tissue box or let them cry on my shoulder but I guess that's all I can do. I may not be as helpful or as wonderful as I would like but at this point, I would rather say nothing at all then risk hurting someone I love even more.
