Jung-a had fallen back into her old habits once again. As she walked the streets of Bellevue she couldn’t help but glance at the faces of those passing by her, and comparing her own look to theirs. Everyone just looked so pretty. Well, there was an obvious exception to a few unfortunate souls, but at least they were trying. And then there was Jung-a.

She had a really baggy brown sweater on, along with a plain black tee under it. She also had her favourite salt-n-pepper sweat pants, which she wore more often than she would like to admit. Her hair was tied back in a simple, droopy bun, and there was no makeup on her face.

Back when the woman still lived in Korea, her friends had forced a makeover onto her. They had curled Jung-a’s hair, and had put makeup on her. She had been pretty. Even afterwards Jung-a had continued wearing mascara.

Now in she had no motivation to try to look good anymore. Jung-a glanced at one man that was wearing a suit. Even he looked like he was trying to look presentable, and she couldn’t do anything about herself.

“You get rid of ghosts, right?” Nanako looked up at the man, hoping that she was in the right place. She certainly hoped so, as the sign outside read ‘Spirits and Such Consultation Office’. Otherwise it would have been embarrassing that she couldn’t read properly.

The girl was a bit shy to be here in the first place, but she had no other choices. Dad was too busy at work - as usual - and she didn’t want to tell Big Bro about it. A fancy place like this would definitely help her!
