I think she puts on the helmet because when maidens use their power their eyes glow. So she was covering because she didn’t want Cinder to know that she was about to use the spring maiden’s power. This might also be why Raven wears the helmet in the first place. To hide that it was always her using the power and not Vernal.

ye i know that she wears it most of the time to cover up that she’s using her powers and not vernal, but like, when they stepped into the vault, it started glowing and the tree came to life and stuff, so i’m wondering if raven either knew or assumed that bc she’s the real spring maiden, there’d be some giveaway just by essence of the fact she’s in the vault, regardless of whether she uses her powers

I’m just honestly very disappointed, for so many reasons. But they can’t kill her, this is set up for something else. Most likely Juane related, and most likely going to make me groan with great regret. Your tags made me laugh super hard because they are all the things I’ve been thinking today.

and ye it seems like p obvious setup for jaune activating his semblance or figuring out what it is, tbh i kinda expected it in this ep but i’m assuming it’ll be the next one (or the one after, if they only focus on blake next ep, which knowing rt, is a likely possibility)
