02, I WILL NOT BE SHIPPING VALKYRIE WITH ANYONE THAT IS UNDER THE AGE OF 21, & i will not do cheating plots either. i have, however, decided to give polyamory another chance, but that doesn't mean i'll do poly with just about anyone & everyone; as valkyrie is mainly monogamous (with poly experiences, don't get me wrong) & i have had bad experiences with it in the past, so i'll only be reserving that for people that i trust, consider friends & plotted things with. so if you try to ask me for poly straight away my answer will be no, DO NOT SHAME ME OR GUILT TRIP ME FOR IT.

03, I TEND TO SHIP BASE ON CHEMISTRY BETWEEN MUSES, & to an extent, muns. if you feel there is chemistry between our characters, please go ahead & ask to ship, as it is more than likely i'll agree! if our characters end up not having the chemistry, that's a-okay, i'm down to try out another type of dynamic; we can even have them as friends as benefits or exes or somewhere along the lines to spice things up.

04, PIGGY BACKING FROM THE POINT ABOVE; if you see me reblog a shippy meme & we haven't spoken about a ship yet but want to test the waters? go for it, i encourage this actually! adding more to this, i'm down for one night stands / hookups, especially with mulitples of the same canon characters; infact i'm very much open to have a one sided / unrequited (from your character's side) ships, it just won't develop into anything romantic, if applicable.

05, I AM ALSO OPEN TO DOING TOXIC SHIPS, granted there is consent from both parties & there is good communication too, just know that i will not be romanticising it in any shape or form & the minute i see that you are, i will be backing away & drop the ship with immediate effect. i will never, ever write domestic or sexual abuse / assault, that's a hard no from me.

when it comes to shipping on this blog, as stated in my rules, everything i do is rooted in chemistry. this is the most important thing above all else -- i do not like being forced into situations. i also will not entertain anyone who is using jay kim to faceclaim hunt or collect. this character is so much more than the face i chose to represent him. it's very easy to tell when that's happening, and it will result in a hardblock.

this blog is multiship. any romantic interactions i am writing are, obviously, not taking place in the same universe / same timeline. jay is a bisexual man, he does not have a preference in gender, and he is a lover boy at heart. i do not partake in ship exclusivity. ( meaning that jay will not have only one dedicated partner. ) i like exploring a variety of relationships, and will continue to keep my blog open for these interactions as long as i see fit. ( this can change at any moment. )

jay, at his core, is a very sensitive person. he is a lover boy, he is touch starved, and the things he went through growing up make him very susceptible to falling fast and falling hard. these feelings never have to be reciprocated. it's simply part of his personality and who he is. jay is also a very submissive person -- he is not often going to make the first move ( unless the situation is right ), and he is not taking control of any situation. he needs someone with a lot of patience, someone who is willing to take a more dominant role, and someone who will treat him with gentleness as he navigates the in's and out's of a serious relationship, considering his experience is very limited until college.

i cannot stress this enough -- jay is a kind hearted person. he is not going to be mean to his partner, and his partner cannot be mean to him in return. he is not an insert for anyone's fantasy's regarding my faceclaim choice, and he is not going to dominate anyone, ever. this is non-negotiable. do not try to change / challenge this fact, and do not ignore it for the sake of your own personal ideals.

jay is also not jealous at heart -- he doesn't really understand the emotion. he, instead, will turn jealous into sadness. if you're looking for someone who will get angry and flustered in such a situation, jay kim is not the partner for you. he is too soft spoken to start any sort of argument, and he is so afraid of confrontation that he will always recede into the background when things like this occur. this does not change, regardless of who he is with and what is happening.

jay is also a monogamous person. though jealousy is very rare, jay's self esteem issues make it nearly impossible for him to think about having a relationship with multiple people without it affecting his mental health. he wouldn't be able to handle it in a healthy way, and therefore, he is someone who will have one partner, no matter what verse. he is very loyal, he is very dedicated, and he is very passionate when it comes to the person / people he cares about. any pressure put on him ( or myself ) to break this rule will not be taken very well.

with all that being said, jay is honestly one of the softest, well meaning people in the world. when he likes someone, it's so evident in the way he shows it. he is gentle, he is adoring, and he will worship the ground his partner walks on, point blank. there is always room for bumps in the road and angst and things like that, but in general, jay is just so loving, so willing to do the work to make things possible, to make them work. if you're interested in any dynamics like that, you are invited to send a romantic meme to me, and we can try it out! if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. and that's okay. additionally, when it comes to ships and the things i write, nothing is a competition. i enjoy all the things i write equally, regardless of where my muse is at. i do not like the thought that i cannot write what i want to write due to stigma placed on me by others / this website. we are all here to have fun and play in the sandbox together. if you do not like something i am writing, you are more than welcome to soft block / block me.
