Naeckte SHIPA - Mosaic IPA (Picked up at de Bierkoning in Amsterdam). A 3 of 4. A simple and good IPA that nicely features mosaic -- primarily tropical fruit and orange citrus in the nose and a lighter, clean body. Not incredibly bitter and slightly on the sweeter side of things, but has a nice, bright hop profile.

Achthundertsechzigstes Bier:
Crew Republic X 9.0 Amarillo IPA 6,3% vol. Unterschleißheim, Deutschland
Die drei X 9er Sude der Crew sind allesamt Single Hop IPAs. Gut so. Los geht es mit der Hopfensorte Amarillo. Im Glas leicht trübes Goldgelb, mit Zitrusaromen und leichtem Malz. Geschmacklich geht es recht zitronig und grapefruitlastig weiter. Dazu ein recht schlanker Malzkörper. Der Nachtrunk ist gut hopfenbitter und insgesamt etwas "spitz" im Abgang. 7/10
Achthunderteinundsechzigstes Bier:
Crew Republic X 9.1 Simcoe IPA 6,3% vol. Unterschleißheim, Deutschland
Das zweite SHIPA aus der X 9er Reihe ist mit der Hopfensorte Simcoe gebraut. Auch hier ist leicht trübes Goldgelb im Glas. In der Nase erwartungsgemäß Zitrusnoten und viel Mandarine. Geschmacklich dann ein eher schlanker Malzkörper, weiterhin Zitrus und Grapefruit. Der Nachtrunk ist langanhaltend hopfenbitter. 7/10
