Learn about the wonders of the deep ocean! Coral reefs are often nicknamed “the rainforests of the sea.” And they aren’t exclusive to tropical, warm waters — there are deep sea coral reefs!

The largest known (and intact) deep-water coral reef is Røstrevet, or Røst Reef, off the coast of the Lofoten Islands (Nordlands County, Norway). It is primarily formed by lophelia pertusa, a white, stony, deep-water coral.

I enjoyed making this; it’s different than what I usually do, but I would like to try some more product based designs now.
