oh no, I wasn’t even thinking in terms of human existence with that post….humans are clever enough to survive for thousands more years, it’s completely unlikely that we’re really in danger of extinction for at least centuries more.The for-sure horror of climate change is the hardships future generations will face if we don’t find some solutions to some immediate agricultural and housing problems, but the thing we can do little about is the plunge in global biodiversity…the varieties of plant and animal life that are going to be gone.

it feels WAY too early for them though...feels like Gen 4 just came out, and i’m still missing a bunch of that generation’s Pokemon in PokeGO (i swear, is Gible even real? like, does it actually exist?)...i imagine we’ll have to wait a few more months at least to actually see them? but that will be fun...i’M READY FOR MY WOOBAT BIIIIIIIIIIITCH
