Like two girls from important fucked up cult like families? The way the sangu are like the 'retainers' of the hiiragi family, so there's this baked in dynamic. But then the two of them are the respective failures of their families and can understand eachothers position so well, but shinoa is laid back and prefers to stay out of the shitshow while mitsuba tries so so hard to finally be acknowledged??? Both of them always stuck in the shadows of their older sisters whom they never really known?! And the way shinoa never got to experience the world and common things because she was sheltered but mitsuba did because she was mostly neglected, and I could litteraly go on like this forever!!!
