Boyfriend Jonghyun [SHINee]
So I love Jonghyun more than most things, so I decided to start this series with him (sorry to the other cuties from SHINee but… I do)
Jonghyun would be the ultimate best friend as a boyfriend
He would never let a day go by without hitting you with a cheesy pickup line which made you cringe and laugh so bad
Jonghyun would flirt constantly, even if you had been together for 10 years he would gape every time you walked out in some nice clothes and he’d just trail after you, entranced by your beauty
It didn’t actually matter what you were wearing though, Jonghyun would tell you you are beautiful and sexy every day of your life, even when you’re not feeling your best
And he would BRAG to everyone who would listen about the beautiful colour of your eyes, or a beauty mark that’s in a cute place, or the way you laugh
But don’t think he would just be complimenting your appearance, he would freaking love you so much for yourself
Whether you’re quiet, eccentric, hyper, sassy you would just be the most amazing creature in the world to him
If he ever saw you so much as hold open the door for another person he would just turn around and-
“Wow, I can’t believe you are so kind and polite. How can you be such a good person?”
And every time he complimented you on something so small you would roll your eyes and tell him off for being silly, but then you’d walk away from every conversation with Jonghyun with a smile on your face
If you were ever feeling down, or just needed some attention, all you’d have to do is ask and he would be there with bells on, ready to spoil you and make you smile and laugh
I think he’d be pretty clingy
Not in the “I must always be with you, I can never be without you,” way but when he IS with you, he’d want to hold your hand, or lean on you, or kiss you
You’d spend so much of your time with you either sat in his lap and his arms around you, or you with your arms draped over Jonghyun from where he had flopped over your lap
He’d want to do everything with you
He could just be going to the shop and he’d grab your hand and shove some shoes at you “You’re coming with me” “To get some milk?” “Yes!”
When he gets hyper and weird and starts jumping and skipping around places Jonghyun would grab your hand and make you dance with him
If you were feeling kinda tired or shy he would allow you to stand there as he danced on you, wiggling his butt on you as he grooved to the music
He would have zero concept of public embarrassment or boundaries around you, he would just do whatever random shit popped into his mind and if people judged him? He gave absolutely zero shits about them lmao
Jonghyun would totally love those tacky declarations of love, like huge boxes of chocolates and roses and little love songs he’d write for you
But I think he would like to do quite simple things for your dates
Like driving out into the countryside and lying on the grass, your head resting on his arm, cuddled under a blanket as you looked up at the stars
And he can’t resist using a chat-up line
“The stars look beautiful tonight” “They’re ok, but I’m looking at something infinitely more beautiful”
He would just LOVE to make you blush
But I think Jonghyun would just be so romantic ??? like ???
He’d leave trails of roses to your apartment and through to the bathroom where he’s drawn you a lovely fragrant bath with oils so you could relax together
Or filling your apartment with candles as a backdrop to a meal he’s made you
Making pillow forts and spending the day just wrapped around each other as you watch your favourite shows and films
Just constant gentle touches, and maybe massages with scented oils (the boy knows how to set a mood)
He’d like to take you to a random city for a weekend, getting a nice hotel room where you can eat lovely food after you explore the city and just relax together
Arguments might arise because he might be a little messy and childish, but he’d either make a really terrible joke or he’d pout when you’re telling him off so you just kinda have to forgive him (and he would try and improve for a bit! He would work on his cleanliness, he really would!)
Jonghyun would never run out of energy and enthusiasm with you, so long as you’re willing to run alongside him, you will have a wonderful relationship!
