...Dracula...
..ahem wait sorry... Dr. Aqula... Lives in Edgeworld, loves gardening, long walks on the beach, and cottage core along with the color pink... despite the fact he lives in a spooky castle on a hill, its a rather nice balance with his very lush and beautiful gardens... advocates for ethically sourced veggies and fruit... tries to remain a “vegan” by eating meat mostly, but ends up at best vegetarian with his drinks composed of fine wine and bottled ketchup... he doesn't want another “accident” to happen with his gardens... never again...
He works as a pediatrician and is a genuine kind soul, even referring to his plants as his own children... Is close with Shinchu’s parents and is godfather to their children... he has no actual relations with them but hes a welcomed family member..
Edgeworld belongs to @rattyarts
Yokai a Day 01: Shinchu (神虫)
These are gigantic DIVINE insects that feed on demons that cause plagues. By feed I mean, ferociously maim, maul, rip and tear their prey before consumption.
Oops forgot to mention why no inktober this year, dried pens, too lazy to buy new crap, and I hate ripping pages out of good sketchpads when I get frustrated on a mistake.

謝謝小俞 @sylvia.yu1021 揪我去!

Day 7 of #mabsdrawlloweenclub is #YOKAI and I chose #Shinchu for inspiration. I’ll post the (partially) finished piece in a separate post but I wanted to show a number of steps in making this here. I started with a big plastic toy beetle and a toy dinosaur pterodactyl (?) I used the wings and arms from the pterodactyl and attached them along with some details to the beetle using epoxy clays. This is a several step process, as it often takes many hours for the clay to set, so I’ve been working on this for a few days. The whole thing got a coat of black gesso as primer and then got painted. See the next post for the finished result! Shinatty x China is the only China ship I'll accept in this fandom.
