Hey anon, I'm Syrian. And I've only been in the US for about 5 years. Best way to comfort her is to assure her that there is nothing that will threaten her safety here. And that there is no way she will be sent back. Honestly my family has been struggling with this for so long. My sister gets nightmares, my mom is always stressed out. But I'm proud to say that I was and always will be there to support them. Any words of comfort helps. This is all temporary! <3

25. What inspired you to create them / how did you create them? Were they originally a fancharacter? What was their personality / design like when you first made them?
Percy: vaguely inspired by TBOI:Rebirth, where one particular doodle in the credits urged me to create him he used to be more sinister, i guess? he also didnât have a mouth at first LMAO
Remus: no such spectacular origin story, he pretty much came into existence not TOO long ago during the early days of my reignited love for object headsi was looking for a (kinda) original concept and went âhey. why are there so few lamp heads around when you can get really creative w/ themâ aaand here we are !
Dr Leslie Elias: âŚboy i pretty much based him off the âcareless doctor who truly gives no shits and probably shouldnât be in possession of a medical licenseâ concept i saw in some russian tv series :,Dhe used look way younger in his early designs (and less......hairy) but heâs still the same awful (but improving) shithead and i care for him
