“Good day doesn’t quite begin to cover it.” Alec beamed over his glass, finally lifting it to his lips to take a drink, “It’s not every day your friend comes back from the dead.” 

“To quote my thoughts whenever I see someone ridiculously attractive… I want you to rail me.”

“Something I can do for you?” The metahuman inquired with a raised eyebrow.

So he didn’t know Steve (okay, most people not living under a rock would know Steve Rogers), but Alec didn’t know-know him. That certainly didn’t stop Alec from sidling up to the epitome of all-American-ness, nor did it stop his hand from sliding over the man’s bicep to pull Blondie closer, or his lips from spilling just how much he liked freedom. “You really should, because flattery gets you everywhere.” 

             even if things go sideways and someone gets stabbed. 

“ No, but caring always gets me in trouble.”
