to say she was terrified was an understatement, but clara didn’t really know what to do or where to go at this point. she had a kid to think about, and her original plan wasn’t working. so.... she were here. to say she felt like a dog with its tail between her knees was an understatement, leaving cyr like that was the shittiest thing she’d ever done (other than what’d gotten her thrown in juvie as a kid). knocking, she looked down at the little boy and shushed him. the tiny brunette bent down and scooped up the toddler, bouncing him on her hip. “don’t be fussy, pumpkin. i know it’s cold.” hopefully they’d be inside soon.
