In comparison to everything else Hogwarts is criminally overrated. Sure, the food can hit but you do not shift there for the beans and corn on the cob. The house elves give their very best but there are only so many things you can make from potatoes.
If you're looking for food kind of similar to this reality but better, go to Teyvat. I don't know how I keep ending up talking about this place. The herbs and spices are different, they use certain vegetables or meat options - Yumkasaur unfortunately tastes really good, I had the honour of trying some at a saurians farewell ceremony. The Masters of the Night-Wind can cook crazy stuff, I don't even know what or how as they love to improvise during gatherings but it's fantastic either way. Liyue cuisine is in a close second, they are always solid, tend to be spicy, they know what they're doing.
Ambrosia, too, is something I'd recommend most people to try at least onces. It kind of has to taste great, as that's the point, but I don't think words can do it justice. It's not the stereotypical "of course, fresh brownies are splendid" kind of good.
As mentioned before, I'm not particularly depending on food as nourishment, if I'm not mortal in the first place. When I'm a ghost, I usually absorb whatever appears to be edible without further thought. However, as a vampire, when I get my hands on ethically obtained blood, I love me some heated up with a pinch of cinnamon. Don't judge me till you've tried it, it's especially cosy during colder days and microwave friendly when you don't bother using the stove for a singular cup
