So Shane Dawson made a video about how record labels are like turning people into slaves and like over working them or whatever. HEY LOOK MA I MADE IT HES A PUPPET AND BASICALLY SELLS HIS SOUL TO THE RECORD LABEL. “IM A HOOKER SELLING SONGS AND MY PIMP IS THE LABEL” THE WHOLE THING IS WEIRD AND CREEPY. SO WHAT IF BRENDON NEW THIS BEFORE AND MADE EVERYONE LEAVE BECAUSE HE DIDNT WANT HIS BAND MATES TO BE APART OF IT?
hmmm. i like that you thought of that but to me, i doubt that’s what happened :’)) brendon’s always been very clear about the fact that he’s very free to do whatever he likes with his music - granted, we may not be getting the full picture, but you know what i mean - and i doubt that he had the absolute upper hand in the matters of who leaves and stays, ya know? he wouldn’t have stayed around the music industry if he hated it.
