But in all seriousness, the difference between Reo handing off the title vs Midas handing it off is so interesting to me. Like Reo just wanted the hell out of the world port and actually had the opportunity to go back and see his brother and continue like nothing happened, he kinda gave it to Midas, didn’t care that they were a teenager, immediately pulled them, practically said “hey! This job sucks! Thanks!” And dipped

Midas however, saw Icarus was a kid and couldn’t pull them. And once they did pull Icarus they were careful with how they passed on the title, gave them the explanation they needed and have been wanting, and then when they left they were lost because there wasn’t a world for them to go back to
