I finally finished the standalone Hapishez I’ve been simmering for what might actually be an entire year.

I think the reason it took so long is that Hapi and Shez just work together so naturally. I mean, I’d written them in a longfic without even realizing: a friend had to point it out. So, when writing a fic that centers on them getting together, I had a hard time believing it had anything to add to canon beyond them finally kissing.
