At the beginning of 2018 I had two phrases that were stamped on my heart. I normally have just one word for the year but last year was different. Here’s a little backstory. @magnolia had a sign in their shop that said, “There will be miracles.” It was discontinued by the time I saw it but the words just stuck to my heart. I thought about the phrase often. At the beginning of last year, this is what I kept hearing: “There will be EVEN MORE miracles.” I felt like I had just come out of a season of experiencing so many miracles but God was stretching me to believe for even more. Month after month, we God moving in 2018. I say “we” because these miracles were in close friends and families lives. Prayers were being answered and my faith was growing stronger. What I didn’t see coming, was my father-n-law being diagnosed with cancer the end of September. The news rattled my husband and I. In those moments, you have a choice to either believe for the best or the worst. We made a resolve to keep our eyes on Jesus, know that he is in control, and loves us and my husband’s father more than we can even imagine. We are believing for a miracle. We are believing for a full restoration and healing. We’ve seen Him move in big ways around us and believe He will do it again. I love this quote by @drtonyevans, “Faith is acting like it is so even when it is not so in order that it might be so simply because God said so.” Who else is believing for something big this year? Keep this verse in mind. “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27 NIV • • • • • #craftedby #sheislight #shepaintstruth #shelaughsproject #solovelysofree #gritandvirtue #sheiscalled #shereadstruth #shecollective #lettering #handlettering #christiancreative #handmadefont #designinspiration #christiantypography #goodnewsfeed #modernscript #goodtype #script #thedailytype #calligrafriends #togetherweletter #modernlettering https://www.instagram.com/p/BsMsHGLgXTX/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=tyrldhgcqq44
