Well I know for me, even though I was God at school, I wished I could move around during class, mainly because of tiredness issues but I'm also a fidgety person. I feel like once you hit middle/high school, the seven hour long days really kill you.

It's all kinda dirty because on the one hand, the way the school system is, with a heavy emphasis on sitting still for several hours and reduced playtime/exercise is shitty but then also acting really shitty/patronizing about kids who might have behavioral or learning difficulties that need extra attention and assistance it’s bad too. basically kids are always gonna get the short end of the stick.

tbh the sitting thing never really bothered me because i was never really fidgety, but i was pretty disappointed that we stopped having recess after 6th grade (and our middle school recess area was shit, it was just a basketball court and tetherball with very little room for running around). we did have gym, but that's a little different because a lot of people HATE gym because they force you to do things that you don't want to do and aren't very good at. sometimes you just want to play tag or swig and talk with your friends.

but yeah... tbh i might have benefited from extra help (and i would ask the teacher to come over to me and explain things to me again constantly anyways) but the only kids i saw that got a lot of help had... not sure how to say it without being rude, but more severe learning/development problems? like severe autism or down's syndrome or something. and i didn't want people to think that i was like that because i wasn't. (and kids were mean to them, even if behind their backs, but tbh i don't think i was much better :\)

he uses the word nigger and when a black girl called him out he said “nigga cry” and says he should be able to say nigger because he has black friends irl
