I finally took a shower and I’ve kept track of my meals for a whole day! Yay me! I’ve been so productive as of yesterday afternoon-ish. I’m still tired though. Woke up around 9-ish. Little after then, I think. Watched some YouTube then got up and took a shower. I’ve had a story idea in my head with my characters as Junior and Julianna. Let’s see if I can get the story down somehow.Â
In a large mansion, a young girl was wandering the halls. This was her home and, in all honesty, she had never really left it except for a few times when she went with her parents to some important supernatural event. Occasionally, she’d be upset that her parents wouldn’t let her go out, but she understood why. Her parents were very well known and many people didn’t like them. They didn’t like the fact that supernatural beings were so important to society. People still hunted them down like their long time family friend had once done to them. Their family friend, a man named Bruce Weston, had been one of the most feared supernatural hunters, even after his wife gave him a son, who they named after Bruce. Eventually, Bruce got up in years, an unfortunate thing that comes to all humans, but before Bruce gave up and went to a retirement home, he taught his son, Junior, everything that he knew. Being more youthful and spry, he ended up being just like his dad. Though, he didn’t have the reputation that his father did. That kind of thing comes with time and experience, which the young man had neither of. He had just barely turned 21 a few months prier while the young girl, Julianna, was barely 16. A small age gap between them, but the young girl’s fancy for the man was incredibly strong and she believed that one day, the two of them would truly live happily ever after.
However, it seemed like that was not meant to be. One day, when Junior came over to hang out with Julianna, he suggested that they run away. Just for the afternoon. They would be back in a few hours and no one would even know they were gone. Julianna immediately agreed, knowing that if anyone could keep her safe, it would be Junior. So the two of them made their way through the backyard, to a small area that Junior knew of that many of the guards never checked. It was a growing tree that had perfect leverage to lift oneself over the tall walls that surrounded the entire property. Junior went first and stood at the top of the wall, waiting for Julianna to get over. It was a little difficult in her spring dress and slip-on shoes, but she managed to get up with a little help from Junior and then the two of them were off. Junior drove his father’s truck. A heavy duty truck that had a lot of junk in the trunk. Julianna rode in the front seat with Junior and she honestly thought that it was the best feeling ever, riding with the windows down snuggled right next to the one she loved. They spent the rest of the day visiting different parts of the town that Junior thought she needed to see. By the time, they were done, it was almost 10 o’clock at night. Julianna began to get worried. She knew that her parents would notice her being gone for that long, considering they had left at 8 that morning. Junior agreed and they headed back to the property, only to find several police cars and a couple ambulances. Junior parked out front of the gates and escorted Julianna to the house, where they were immediately greeted by the sight of most of the foyer damaged and a several guards being treated by paramedics. Julianna’s parents stood in the middle of the room with a few cops. It seemed like they were done with the questions because Julianna’s mom, Erin, came storming over to the duo. “Where were you?!” She yelled at Junior. The man straightened up, understanding that he didn’t do a good thing. He explained to Erin that they had been out on the town all day, but nothing had happened. Erin was furious. Julianna’s father, Johnathon, came over and put his arm around his wife. Johnathon was a powerful vampire and Erin was an equally powerful witch. If she wanted to cast a spell on Junior, she could and it would make his life a living hell. Erin explained to Junior and Julianna what had happened. How there was a large team of supernatural beings that had stormed the place and started tearing everything apart and when her parents couldn’t find her, Erin and Johnathon feared the worst. Immediately afterwards, Junior didn’t make eye contact with either of Julianna’s parents. “I’m sorry” is all he managed to say. Johnathon put his hand on Junior’s shoulder, making the younger man look up at him. “I am too.” He said simply, but with a heavy sorrow in his eyes. “I don’t want my daughter to get hurt and I know you don’t either, am I correct?” He asked, knowing the answer. Junior nodded. “It is not safe for her out there without the proper protection, am I correct?” Junior nodded, swallowing. “If this team were to attack again, but this time, attack you and Julianna, would you be able to fight all of them off and make sure she wasn’t harmed in the process?” Junior looked down, thinking about it shortly before swallowing. Many of the guards were supernatural beings themselves. Obviously, the team that attacked them were better and many of the guards were already better than Junior was. Hesitantly, he shook his head. Johnathon sighed lightly, squeezing the young man’s shoulder gently. “Then I do not want you near my daughter, until you can properly defend her.” Junior’s head snapped up to look at the vampire. “What?” He asked in disbelief. Julianna echoed his reaction immediately after before she stepped between Junior and her father. “Father, it won’t happen again. It was just one time.” She pleaded with her father to take back his order, but before she could continue her begging, Junior put his hand on her shoulder. “Julianna.” He said quietly. The young girl turned around and looked up at him. “I’m sorry.” Her eyes started filling with tears. “I don’t want you to go.” She wrapped her arms around Junior’s neck. She felt Junior embrace her and hold her tight. “I know,” he said, almost painfully into her hair. “but it’s only for a little bit. Until I start acting better.” He let her go and grabbed her hand. “I promise I’ll come back.” He placed a small kiss on the back of her hand and smiled at her. She smiled back before he left the property. Erin and Johnathon were very upset to see Junior go, but not as upset at Julianna was. She claimed she would never be happy again until he came back for her. She threw a large fit before she was escorted by several guards back to her room. Julianna’s words were true. For several years, she grew up bitter and grumpy at everyone around her, especially her parents who continued to keep her trapped in the mansion. Even as her body blossomed, her personality stayed the same.Â
Until he returned.
That’s basically it. and then she is trying to get over her hard feelings for him leaving, for her parents making him leave and a whole bunch of other stuff. Anyway, tell me what you think.Â
