finally,  someone  who  sees  this  hell  like  i  do.  what  is  with  these  hipsters  &&  thinking  everything  they  do,  make,  or  see  turns  to  gold.  there’s  no  special  touch  to  LA  to  make  it  the  glamorous,  modern,  sophisticated  place  everyone  sees  it  be.  it’s  stuck  up,  built  on  false  personalities  &&  promises   -   that  this  is  the  BEST  guac  you’ll  ever  try,  ‘trust  us.’

    ❝   𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨  𝙞𝙩.  𝙞’𝙢  𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜  𝙮𝙤𝙪  𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚.    ❞   the twirl of keys around middle finger,  leading the way in her drunken stupor.  her phone in his hand as collateral.     he’s  seen it before,  hell he’s seen it in himself.    that  recklessness.  eager to feel something.  like watching a car crash, but as  a  DD  for  the  night  he’s  in  a position to help.  keeping  her  from  the  gazes  of  his  bulldogs  that  were referring to her like  a  prize.  fresh meat was she who just came to town.  mistakes  were  too close,  around  the  corner,  and  he  had  no  problem  letting  her  know.  in the subtext of course.  

        𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚.  𝙖  𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩’𝙨  𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚.   reggie’s  place  to  resort  when  boredom  struck  in  a  palace  too  often  empty.  parents  on a  business trip   (   as  always  )  out  living  lavishly  in  the  private  jet  instead  of  spending  time  with  their  own  son.  pity.  social  media  interested  the  mantle  prince  more  anyway,  an easy avenue for attention when he didn’t feel like asking for it.  a  platform where he got to talk aimlessly about his favorite thing:  HIMSELF.  and yeah, the fans too. his following was nothing to sneeze at,  himself ever  the  influencer in some sense on all platforms, but it wasn’t like people didn’t have anything better to do.  he opens the stream and waits for his audience to pour in, before taking questions.

      gaze  squints  at  the  small,  fast-paced  print that pops up in the comments,  asking  him  random questions until  a classmate  brings  up  what  should be a harmless game.     SMASH  OR  PASS:  RIVERDALE  HIGH EDITION.       it’s  extremely effective in garnering his attention.   ❝    𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝙤𝙧 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨 ?  𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩, 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚.     since  you  vultures  are dying to know who mantle the magnificent   would  spend  a  night  with  ...  shoot.  i’ll answer.   ❞    the comments start pouring in, from those with personal investment to those with genuine curiosity. some people submitting themselves, others curious about recent gossip that’d been floating around. the interest is overwhelming but more ... ego - boosting  if he was being honest.  who knew so many people wanted to know what criteria there was for getting in his smoking hot pants.  may as well give the people what they want:

"Are they teasing you?”

Mars is point blank, she shoots straight for it when she looks to the other girl across from her. Leaning back against the exterior of the cabin, she’s smoking a cigarette, her blonde hair tucked up and back from behind her ears. Out of all of them, Zoe’s always been the sweetest... the one that Marlene hangs out with the MOST FREQUENTLY, aside from Marcus when they’re not off getting high after tests (never before), and for that reason, she can’t help but feel that protective little twinge within her chest, knowing how barbed Lydia and Harleen’s words could be at times.

For whatever reason, they see the virginal girl as a symbol of all the things wrong with high school life. As someone who hasn’t lived up to her TRUE POTENTIAL, whatever that meant. Exhaling a stream of smoke, her back slides against the wood, squatting lower so that she can make out an angle of the moon, dreamy and lovely from where she’s at -- but so full that it makes the whole place feel lit from within. Spooky. “And how’s your room? I swear to god, mine’s totally freezing.”

   Guilty. If there’s one word for how Evan feels right now, it’s GUILTY. Feeling like a huge ball of anxiety wrapped up into a pathetic excuse for a human being is pretty much his constant state at this point, but this is just about ten times worse. He’s LYING to the Murphy’s, he’s lying to Zoe, Zoe who he’s thought about over and over in his head, Zoe who he never thought he’d actually have the courage to talk to because his hands were too sweaty and he always stumbled over his words, Zoe who makes him want to be brave. This is what he’s wanted...but he got it through a LIE. 

       And he can’t stop. 

“Yeah, no.” He’s dressed up, shirt buttoned all the way up like it’s supposed to be and he’s leaning in the door way to the Murphy’s kitchen. Honestly are you surprised that their family seems to like him? Billy Hargrove has a way with words-- and this is no exception. “It’s bullshit.”

"Five?" Heather asked, glancing up from the mirror she held in her hand as she reapplied her lip gloss. What? New Years Eve was a big night, she wanted to start the new year cute. "Why stop at five?"

Doing the math in her head - and probably extremely poorly, math was never Heather`s strong suit - the blonde concluded that she could hit at least a few more than five parties that night. Though maybe her formula was off. You could use formulas in this situation, right?

"I bet, if you start now, and you spend an half an hour at each party - show your face, have a few shots, and then hit the road - "

“I’m okay. Really. I just.. Yeah, I didn’t get much sleep.”
