Baby blanket done in the shell stitch alternating between four rows of pink and six rows of lilac. Being only ninety-four rows tall, it took me fifteen days to make (April 2nd to the 17th). Border is single stitch on the top and bottom with the bean stitch along the sides for texture and visual interest.

For the past week, ive been disciplining myself to crochet a minimum of 2 rows or more. The width of this “lap/body” blanket is under 5 feet wide. And will be at least that or longer when I’m finished.

Never trust a shell pattern that says, "repeat row X" as the instruction for continuing a shell pattern. Unless the shells are stacked on top of each other (rare), this is just fucking wrong.
