An open letter to all those doing the HSC this year:
Dear (possibly extremely nervous and stressed) HSC or equivalent participant,
First and foremost good luck!
I am sure you will do fine and get the marks you need for the courses. Remember there will always be another way into the courses you want to do, also remember that you can achieve great things if only you try first and never give up.
So let’s smash out English tomorrow and Tuesday, let’s give it our all…and prove to the Board of Studies that the year of 2013 are amazing! Then on to your other subjects which I am sure you will do brilliant in!
Try not to stress too much, remember to breathe deeply in the exam room (trust me it will help!) Keeping a clear head will work wonders.
And last remember - we have the opportunity to go to uni and go all the way through, so for Sam Winchester, who had to pull out because of reasons beyond his control we should do our best! Rory Williams waited 2000 years guarding his wife and keeping her alive, so we can make it through four weeks of exams. Sherlock Holmes survived a fall from a mighty tall building, nuff said. All those actors, writers, shop owners, workers made it through high school so so can we!
We are all amazing and deserve the best out of life, so let’s take this tiny part of life and give it our all, imagine how good it will feel once you’re on the other side of these four weeks…we can do this!
Signed a nervous and rather stressed HSC participant,
