Taking shipping too far - i’ve already discussed this, and it falls under what I think about the jealous Dream jokes or looking too deeply into something -- I do agree sometimes the jealous dream jokes can be taken a bit too far. honestly every single joke in this fandom can be taken too far sometimes. in moderation (in this case, to the extent that the cc’s themselves joke around about it), i still find it quite funny because of the fact it’s rooted in truth and bc the ccs literally could not care less about it. 

I do agree that Dream and George, and any/all cc’s really, would talk about things if it got too far between them. The thing about that though is that it’s not too far for them, and I don’t think I’ve seen anyone insinuate that Dream’s supposed jealous behavior is too far bc it’s not. It’s just him wanting to hang out with his friends. We, the viewers, twist it into a jealous light to make fun of it, lightly (in mine and most people’s cases, at least). Which could be taken too far at times, I agree. To me, the jealous Dream jokes are an inside joke to the fandom. As long as you’re not being serious, and being vocally out there (like on twitter or to the cc’s faces) saying “dream is so jealous!! let george be his own person stop being so clingy!!” then i don’t mind it bc it’s funny. it’s funny in the way that clingy duo being clingy jokes and dnf jokes are sometimes funny, which is in moderation and as much as the cc’s permit. when they show they’re uncomfortable with how far the joke has been taken within the fandom, then i hope that people will realize that and stop. but as of right now they’ve not said anything so i don’t see the problem unless it becomes one. does that make sense?
