GODSWAR… HE WONDERED IF that meant that actual gods had fought one another and brought about the ruin of that empire, but he couldn’t quite say for sure as that could merely be a name and nothing more. He took a mental note of this, opting to ask afterwards. ❝Ah, so even in your world, minotaur are still prone to violence, I see.❞ He paused, arms crossing as his eyes closed – Ozymandias trying to visually picture these places that Inari spoke of in the same manner one would when reading a book for themselves. His imagination, no doubt, was nothing compared to these actual locations. ❝Your world sounds like an interesting place. Realms split by different species…❞ A realm for foxes, a realm for minotaurs, a realm for elves… Pulling himself from his reverie, it was then that he decided to get to the heart of the matter – the question that he had truly wanted to bring forward, especially now that he had a better understanding of who this Keros was and why Inari always held a kind of melancholic feel about her that was difficult to describe even for him.
❝You said there was a ‘Godswar’… Did your divine clash? And if so, did Keros have an involvement in this affair? You said he was the god of deception and that he was shunned by all the others, and yet…I am most curious as to the why of it.❞ Gods whose domain resided over such things were never well-liked or trusted by anyone within their pantheon, this extending towards others as well. Most humans avoided worshipping such deities out of fear that they may be dragged into whatever scheming or attempt a ‘good fun’ said gods may seek. What kind of individual was Keros? Was he like this…? So many things that Ozymandias desired to ask.
