Brooklyn singer songwriter and producer SHEARE is back to mend our sheared hearts with a gooey melting new alt pop meets synthpop piece named Nightmare Baby. Despite its name, this “baby” is a creamy luscious dream of a bop that recalls those early The 1975 hits with its 80s new wave inspired pop veneer. It’s coated in luminous synths and warm, plaited guitars. Over the last several years, this talented musician has been a mainstay on IHM, garnering much love from both us and many other music outlets across the world. Who else but NYC singer songwriter and producer SHEARE could render us a total hot mess in the middle of a glorious spring Friday? Turbulent our hearts really are as we count down the days to SHEARE’s new EP, TURBULENCE, out May 12th, and now we can literally hear our hearts breaking under the weight of this dulcet yet bittersweet pop aria from the record. R I P is a cathartic journey despite its aching moodiness. Its buttery glide is strangely assuaging despite the song’s molten melancholy and lovelorn torment.  SHEARE has expertly offered up a lush beauty, on which his golden falsettos lead us on an heartfelt and emotive journey.
