#STARTER   CALL       ✢        Clarice   allows   her   eyes   to   flick   toward   @n1cap,   unimpressed,   her   expression   flat   with   barely   concealed   impatience.   Without   a   word,   she   returns   to   thumbing   through   the   magazine   in   her   hands,   some   middle-of-the-road   travel   issue   she’d   plucked   from   the   rack   simply   to   pass   the   time   without   losing   her   mind.   Her   sunglasses   sit   perched   in   her   strawberry-kissed   hair,   glinting   faintly   under   the   convenience   store   lighting.   “Could   you   hurry   up?”   she   mutters,   not   bothering   to   look   up   again.   “We   need   to   get   back   on   the   road.”
