I love this scene (and more people need to pay attention to it) because it shows that Yaz is the only one who isn't freezing up around dinosaurs nowadays.
It's not that her trauma is cured, it's that she pushed through, trained, put in the work, and is stronger than it now. She struggled to touch a Stegosaurus in the beginning, and now she's climbing up on a Becklespinax that may or may not be digesting her friend (spent the first ten hours of the trip processing that one).
Obviously, Sammy and Ben have every right to be terrified of a giant carnivore sleeping inches away from their feet, and so does Yaz...but Yaz is the one who Takes Initiative. She's the one who says "I can do something in this situation" and decides to see where they are after about twenty-four hours of travel.
