HEADCANONS. 

 — due to his time in neverland, william hasn’t aged past the age of 44 until after the villains were rounded up and placed on the isle. physically, now he’s aged to 64 years old but due to his general confusion of for how long they were actually in neverland, he isn’t actually sure how old he is.

— he has a pet chameleon named blinky, technically squirmy’s who quickly grew bored with the creature.  more often than not, you can see him running from each of smee’s shoulders or sleeping in the pockets of his jacket.

— there was an unfortunate incident involving his wife and him accidentally leaving her behind when they set sail for neverland. smee hates talking about his wife — and especially hates when people refer to her as his ex  — because he feels immense guilt for not having the bollocks to point out the screaming woman at the docks. the guilt was only added once he discovered they’d had a son, sammy, that he’d unintentionally abandoned too.

— william was originally born in ireland to working class parents. his mother passed away due to an undiagnosed illness when william was six years old. since then, he’s worked to earn his keep and has taken up a variety of jobs before his life of piracy. jobs include working labouring jobs, as a sea-side merchant and whatever odd jobs he was able to pick up in the neighbourhoods.

— while he can be considered a pushover and often does his best to help raise other people up at the expense of himself (e.g. his relationships with the crew of the jolly roger, captain hook, etc.), he is very much capable of holding his own. after all, he wouldn’t have survived all these years of piracy and on the isle if he didn’t have a bite of his own. that being said, he doesn’t like to be truly nasty unless it’s called for.

— he loves taking up hobbies and odd-jobs in his spare time, because being truly alone with himself and having nothing to do leaves him feeling restless. he’s particularly good at sewing and often repaired clothing for people on the isle for extra cash. he’s also a good baker but prefers to cook and works best with the typical home made dishes he grew up with such as mince/cottage pies, hotpots, etc.
