the reason is actually dead simple; everyone else was dead or wayyyyy to old. like, that is the reason. Roy's mother and Trisha were half-sisters. Ed and Al would've gone to their (and Roy's) other aunt, Clarisse, but she's dead, and everyone else is either not interested or, if they are, are too old (cough, nana marie, cough). so clearly, roy is the best option!

@CassieActon: Well, the weather didn’t exactly hold up for the charity run, but can’t complain too much when you get muddy pictures like that. Looked a lot better after finishing than I did, so you can objectify him, instead.
