All the emotions one could have, they all went through Lily’s body, and soul, and heart, when they put the baby she just gave birth to (After breaking at least four of her husband’s fingers) in her arms. The first words that formed inside her head as she saw her baby crying his lungs out were ‘He’s so tiny’, and suddenly there was a sense of fear-- she was holding something so delicate, and so precious to her that her arms started to shake. James held him in his arms and as she saw the image, it became the moment where everything made sense--- every (although tiny tiny) doubt she had about bringing life into war, vanished. James held Harry with such love that everything went blurry because of her tears. There, while safely protected by James’ arms, he opened his eyes. And she smiled. And cried. And laughed.
