I’m very happy to finally be able to talk about a very exciting project I’ve been working on! Without spoiling too much, this holiday season I’ll be releasing a collection that I’ve been wanting and waiting to do for years. I didn’t want to waste this idea until I felt ready and comfortable enough in my abilities to do this. I have a wonderful team with me who’s going to help me with the promotional side of the collection, which is what this casting is about. I really wanted to do a commercial kind of video to showcase the pieces of the collection but I suck at this kind of stuff, so I found two gems @falllforfiction (YouTube) and @ellizabethdarffygrown (YouTube) who will be helping me with this project!
about the casting;
I will need around 5 models for the video and a photoshoot. It’s very important for me that through this collection the video showcases the beauty of every body type, skin color, ethnicity and overall uniqueness. I would’ve loved to have men or trans Sims in the video, but sadly EA didn’t give us the ability to have female clothes available for men and the opposite in Sims 3 like they did with Sims 4.
how to apply;
If you’re interested in applying a model, then all you need to do is take a photo like the one shown below. A headshot and a full body shot of the model you’re applying in underwear or swimsuit. A few info about your model would be a bonus, but not required. Please do as less editing as possible on your application photo, on the sim specifically. Your Sim doesn’t need to be a model to apply.
Casting applications will be open for a week starting today. Make sure you use the hashtag #SHCcasting under your posts. If I don’t like and reblog your post in 24 hours, it means I probably missed it because tracking tags on Tumblr sucks so please message me!
Oct, 31st 2020 - Nov, 7th 2020: Casting Applications Nov, 8th 2020: Me and my team will choose the models. Nov, 9th 2020: I will message the creators of the models chosen privately.
Important note: If you apply, please make sure you have the file of your Sim ready. You’ll have 48 hours to send us the file, if your Sim is selected. Otherwise, we’ll have to choose a new model.
