Healing Takes Time, Idiot. Injured! Shay x Reader

âYou missed a spot,â Shayâs one good arm shook as he groaned, setting down his shaving blade. âStop rubbing it in, Lass. Please help me,â Shay managed to muster up his best puppy dog eyes and pout. Chuckling, I grabbed his blade and slowly started to drag it across his overgrown stubble â cutting it down to a clean shave. Shay hummed and wrapped his arms around my waist, burying his head in my stomach while I cleaned the blade. âShay, stand up and lean on me, we need to get you properly dressed,â âSorry, Lass, but thatâs going to be a no,â âShay...â I huffed, combing my hands through his thick brown hair. âCanât we just stay here all day?â âShay! We need to get to the doctor. We have to redress your temporary bandages, get supplies, and set your arm!â âWe have supplies here, Love. I know you can do that all by yourself,â I scowled. He was right, but the possibility of myself messing up and causing Shay more pain made myself physically wince. For Creedâs sake! Shay has a broken arm, wrist, and bruised ribs along with a twisted ankle all from bar fights alone! âYou wonât hurt me, Love. Youâre too cautious about everything when it comes to me,â the damn bastard can read me like a book. âShay, do I need to list off everything you broke, bruised, and twisted again? Weâre going,â âY/N, I canât get out of bed, nevertheless go to the other side of Greenwich,â Shay knew he had won the fight before it even started â I cared about him too much to injure him more. âDrink your medicine. Iâll go get the supplies,â âThatâs my girl,â
Eventually, I gathered every needed medical supply in Fort Arsenal and strolled back to Shayâs side. âYou do realize this is going to hurt like hell, right?â âAye, I know, Lass. Itâs going to hurt like hell, but never as much as not seeing you by my side every day,â âSmooth, but not going to help,â Heaving Shay up to the headboard to get him in a sitting position, Shay gave no indication of pain, but I know he was grimacing with every move he made. Dipping a cloth in antiseptic, I clicked my tongue in disgust seeing the caked on dirt and blood come off of Shayâs skin. âI know, Love, Iâm so sorry,â I kissed Shayâs forehead after he winced from me touching his broken arm. Setting Shayâs arm in place as carefully as I could, the medicine I urged Shay to down finally started to work. I feared Shay might have overdosed, but thankfully I got the dose just right. Any other man consuming the same amount wouldâve died 5 minutes after consumption, but not Shay. Must be because of his Irish heritage or his enormous stamina. Shay started to snore quietly â only twitching if I touched a sensitive spot. âI love you, Shay,â walking to the kitchen I began to start a new entry in a spare journal I had now used to record every time bandages were changed and medicine given. âY/N,â âShay what are you doing out walking?! Get back to bed, before you damage something more!â âNot without the most beautiful woman in the world joining me,â Shay grinned mischievously. Oh, Shay...

Assassinâs Creed Rogue - Shay Cormac Props
Iâve been working on all the weapons needed for Shay from ACR. All pieces were made out of wood using a jigsaw, dremmel, and belt sander. Now Iâm just waiting for better weather to finish more sanding/painting/sealing.
