Midnight Moth Shawlette, a free crochet pattern designed by Angela Ader on Ravelry.
I started a new knitting project already. This one is going to be a shawlette.
Oh my, I LOVE this.
Designed by Amy Gunderson, the Cog Shawlette is a simple to create shawl with wide cog edging. It is worked in one piece. First the Cog Edging is knit sideways. Without breaking yarn, crochet slip stitches are then worked all the way along the shaped side of the Cog Edging. Without breaking yarn, stitches are then picked up and knit along the straight side of the Cog Edging and the Shawl body is worked up and shaped with short-rows. Next up are triangle cowls, shawlettes, (cowlettes?) or as I'm toying with a special name for them for my store, hedgecowls/hedge cowls:
These are all just single-skein projects made with various wool and dyed by indie-dyers. Some of them are dk, some are worsted, and some are heavier than that—two of these pictured (the grey/multi-colored one and the brown & blueish one) are OOAK skeins that were both handspun and hand dyed by indie spinners/dyers. All are patterns and variants of my own design, and they are super quick projects—I finished all of these in a binge over a few days in the winter.
All will be for sale (eventually) and are quite stylish:
(This one is botanically dyed wool, my own pattern design (also featured here and here) and a gift to a friend)
Finished a shawl I started stress-crocheting in Sunday.
Willing to let this one go very cheap. It was mostly just a stash-buster to keep my hands busy and I’m pretty sure it’s mostly if not all acrylic, and anyway if you want it send me a message, make an offer.
If you aren’t comfortable making an offer I’m happy to put a stupid number on it that you can then gleefully undercut and I will probably say “okay sure” and we’ll both walk away winners
I got my first shawl pin. I never thought I'd love them, but dude this is so pretty. It's from crafty flutterby creations.
