TriFold Shaving Mirror Set, Edwardian Folding Mirror with German Boxed Straight Razor Included. Each of the 3 mirrors with frames measure 5 tall and 4 wide approximately. 3/8 thick. Embossed leather on the backs, metal chain to hang on the middle mirror. This listing is a set I put together with the mirror and a Baurmann & Söhn Straight Razor. 5 1/2 Vintage straight razor with box, early 1900s razor. I still cant imagine shaving with this. Traveling was making great strides with air ships, trains and even cars for short trips. The folding travel mirror had been around a long time and was used for men to carry for shaving and grooming. Imagine a train compartment and hanging this up over the water bowl or sink. With the shake rattle and roll of the moving train, and hoping to get a clean face before heading out to breakfast in the dining car. And not cut yourself with that razor. The razor box is worn and wonderful, making a complete razor set. Then with the shaving mirror, the embossed leather closely matching the box. Razor in good condition with a tarnished blade that can be restored and handle in good working order. Mirror has a great aesthetic to it. With spotting common on the silvering backs with this age. The metal frame has spotting from age and use. The embossed leather is worn with spots of wear, One outside cover is very faded as you can see in photos. Chain in good shape. Marked EC, a European mark to cover their products.

The knot of shaving brushes Marfin is handmade in Italy by an artisan only for Marco Finardi. He wanted to use only pure extra-white silvertip badger hair, diameter 26mm. Each shaving brush Marfin is stamped and numbered.
